Compatibility
Equipped with an Ethernet port featuring BD-Live™, the BDP-LX52 connects directly to the Internet and
your home network, allowing you to transfer compressed audio, movie and image files, subtitles and bonus trailers as well
as synchronise viewing with other BD-Live players and join in live chat sessions, online gaming and video messaging when viewing
BD-Live™ compatible titles. When future firmware enhancements become available, you can upgrade your BDP-LX52
player via the BD-Live™ connection.
To store
your downloaded media, the BDP-LX52 comes complete with 1 GB of internal memory and a USB port with HDD support
for external storage. A built in RS-232C terminal also enables external computer control of your Blu-Ray
player.
