Based in Studio 2000 just off Junction 23 of the M25, our fully-engineered and air-conditioned demonstration rooms allow you to audition a wide range of stereo and home cinema systems, from entry-level set-ups costing a few hundred pounds all the way up to our ultimate reference-quality 7.1 cinema room. One of the finest cinema rooms in the country, it features a 3m-wide anamorphic screen and absolute reference-level sound and vision - with all equipment completely concealed so that nothing detracts from your cinema experience. 

If music is your thing our dedicated audiophile Stereo room has a fully floating floor and isolated walls to ensure that nothing can detract from your critical evaluation of the best in CD and SACD players, 2-channel amplifiers and reference-level speakers.

We provide a complete turnkey service, from design right through to final commissioning and on-going maintenance and support. Our expert team can install everything from small Home Cinema packages right up to bespoke dedicated cinema rooms with the highest quality sound, vision, lighting and control systems. We install a wide range of systems where speakers can be ceiling-mounted for minimal visual intrusion right up to dedicated rooms with acoustically transparent screens or walls so that everything is completely concealed. We can acoustically treat rooms for maximum sound quality and, if required, after installation completely make good right through to final decoration and supply and fit soft furnishings including hand-made and motorised curtains.

As part of our commitment to provide you with a total solution,  we also design and install additional multi-room audio, control systems, mood and architectural lighting and security systems for the fully automated property.

 

When you are trying to choose a hi-fi or home theatre system, you start with a budget and shortlist of manufacturers you want to evaluate.

The next step is to audition them so that you can make an informed decision about which sound you like the best at the price you are prepared to pay.

But any system, whether it is the source, such as a blu-ray or SACD player, the electronics (surround-sound processor), the power amplifier, or the speakers is coloured by both all the different things it is connected to and the room in which it is heard.

Simply put, not matter how good an amp is you won't hear it perform to its best if the speakers used are not reference quality, and the room in which you listen to it is colouring the sound.

So we have built our demonstration rooms to broadcast reference quality standard to ensure that whatever component you have come to see and hear performs without the distortions and colouration of either other equipment or the environment you audition it in.

Our 7.1 Reference Cinema - Screen 1 - is equipped with Acoustic Design Associates (ADA) Suite 7.1HD processor and power amps, Denon's A1UD absolute reference-quality blu-ray player, projected via JVC's top-end projector onto a 3m-wide 2.35:1 (anamorphic) Harkness Hall cinema screen.

Sound is played into Aerial Acoustics' System 1 Theatre wall; which is perfect for concealing within a dedicated cinema room. On request we can re-configure the room to use other power amps from Bryston, Arcam, NAD and Pioneer and speakers from the KEF Reference range PMC or Pioneer's EX-series speakers.

Screen 2 is our dedicated 5.1 room. The size of a typical integrated single garage it features a ceiling-mounted JVC or Panasonic projector and motorised projection screen; sound is processed by a range of Arcam, Denon, Pioneer and NAD amps and processors according to your requirements, played into in-wall concealed PMC speakers. Other floor-standing speakers from Cabasse, KEF, Pioneer and PMC can be configured on request. Large-screen TVs can also be configured as an alternative to projection when required.

Finally Screen 3 is a smaller home cinema system 5.1 room. A Panasonic wall-mounted 50VX100 plasma display provides outstanding picture quality. It is fully isf-calibrated with the cleanest picture of any plasma currently available. Here we demonstrate a wide range of mid-range amps from Arcam, Denon and Pioneer, played into a range of sound-bars and satellite/sub speaker sets from Cabasse, KEF and Pioneer. The speakers can be floor-standing, wall-mounted or ceiling mounted according to your requirements.

Because all our demonstration rooms are fully broadcast-engineered you can be absolutely sure that what you see and hear are the characteristics of the system you have come to evaluate and not coloured by the sonic characteristics of the room itself.
